Khulna Division’s Background
In 1960, cutting the districts of Rajshahi divisions Khulna, Kushtia, Jessore and Dhaka divisions Barishal district Barisal Khulna division was formed. Mr M. Manzur-e-Elahi joined as the Divisional commissioner on 01 October 1960.
